For Namrita Gulati, the co-founder of Taahira Jewellery, it all started from an experience very similar to that of many individuals: there wasn't a reliable option for artificial jewellery. Most pieces would dull after a single wear, leave a green or black mark on our skin, and look worn out after just a few wears. With affordable jewellery options, you could see water damage, flaking gold plating, and even irritation from metal.
During her search for a real solution, Namrita discovered the demi-fine jewellery category. She found a selection of long-lasting, quality demi-fine jewellery pieces that weren't marked up with a luxury markup. However, again, she couldn't find a collection that had accessible and well-designed pieces in this category. This wasn't an inconvenience just for Namrita; it was a gap in the market.

Namrita Gulati, Taahira's co-founder, is a trained make-up artist with over 12 years of experience in the beauty industry. She has built a career in beauty working with some of the world's biggest brands like MAC Cosmetics and helping aspiring make-up artists as an industry educator. In 2016, she launched Kingdom of Lashes with a quality-first approach, gaining loyal customers.
Her life and business partner, Marlon Gomes, brings his global business experience to the partnership. With over 10 years of business development, market research and consulting experience, Marlon is a key part of Taahira's growth and international development.
They are not just co-founders of Taahira Jewellery; they are a power couple who have come together to build a brand with intention, integrity, and inspiration.
